A striking pair of bolster cushions handcrafted from an up-cycled Kimono. Metallic gold, copper and green threads are woven onto black silk to create a scene of trees and mountains. Magenta silk piping is used to frame the design, and is further complemented by soft cotton feel black velvet to the sides and back.

Overall this design symbolises overcoming life's hurdles. The Mountains we have to climbed and the Forests we have navigated through to get there. In Japanese culture Mountains are considered to be sacred places and are link between Heaven and Earth. The Trees and scenery represent Nature's spirit and our connection to it.
